All-Teeth-On-4 Crows Nest
All-Teeth-On-4 Sydney, Crows Nest & Bella Vista
The Process
During your consultation at Oralux Dental, your dentist will discuss what All-Teeth-On-4 implants entail, including how they’re measured, fitted and what the final result will look like. We will collect data and replicate your mouth using photos, scans and 3D imaging technology.
Once you are confident with the final model and happy to go ahead, we will place the four dental implants and deliver the temporary teeth the same day, giving you something to chew with over the next four to six-month healing period. During that time, the implants will settle into your bone through the osseointegration process. The final teeth will be made of stronger materials and provide a better aesthetic result, which we will connect to the healed implants.

Maintenance
Maintaining your All-Teeth-On-4 implants requires good oral hygiene first and foremost. You will be given special instructions about how to clean around the surgical area to avoid infections, and also how to use special mouth rinse while your implants heal. Cold packs help to reduce swelling, while painkillers will be prescribed to help ease any discomfort post-surgery. If needed, antibiotics will be prescribed to further aid healing and prevent infections.
Once the permanent fixtures are embedded, maintenance requires brushing twice a day and flossing with a special soft toothpick to remove any debris beneath the gum line. This routine will ensure your implants remain in top condition, are minimal discomfort, and avoid any issues associated with poor cleaning habits or gum disease.

Benefits
The main benefit of the All-Teeth-On-4 procedure is the restoration of your teeth and jaw function. Patients are able to chew without fear of their dentures or false teeth falling out. They can also enjoy greater peace of mind due to how All-Teeth-On-4 implants are the closest you can get to natural teeth. This is because of how they are embedded into the bone, which in turn stimulates your own bone cells to grow around the implants and further encourage their ‘acceptance,’ which eventually secures and stabilises them.
All-Teeth-On-4 implants with teeth attached are known as ‘fixed prostheses,’ and they stay in your mouth without the need to take them out like dentures, which results in a greater aesthetic outcome. Your smile won’t just be as good as new, it may be even better than the one you had before.
Risks
All-Teeth-On-4 implants are fitted using a surgical procedure, and like all surgical procedures, they come with a standard set of risks. These can include:
Mechanical failure and peri-implantitis (destructive inflammation)
